Spring Break with Chadwicks!

Chadwicks of Boston is always a great go-to site for pretty, classic styles and their spring collection this year is dreamy and delightful!

Chadwicks review, Chadwicks spring, Chadwicks of Boston, style over 40, fashion over forty, spring 2015

I felt like poetry in motion in this Ikat Print Floral Maxi.
Love the cool uneven hemline and the on trend Ikat print in ocean blues and spring greens.

This fab skirt even has a little half slip built in.

(This is the same embarrassed smile I had in most of my childhood pictures.  Gee, I could've saved this shot for the backyard, right?)

Ikat print maxi, embroidered scallop hem top, spring looks, spring style over 40

I have a feeling I'm going to be spending a lot of time this spring in this pretty Embroidered Scalloped Hem Top with such lovely detail around the neckline and the hem.  I love the 3/4 length sleeve and lightweight soft fabric.  Check out the top in beautiful Sea Mist and Sunset Coral too.

Beaded sweater & FUN FASHION FRIDAY LINK UP!

Welcome to the FUN FASHION FRIDAY link up party!  So excited that last week's maiden voyage was such a success and thanks so much to all the fabulous ladies who linked up!

Here's my look for the party today ...

Close up of the bead trim ...

When I came out in this sweater, the hubby said, "Where in the world do you even buy something like that?!" LOL.  I love his funny reactions to my fashion sense.  And I'm going to take it as a compliment whether or not he meant it as one!

So where do you buy a crazy fabulous sweater with ribbon and bead trim?  The thrift store!

I had planned to pair the sweater with some flared jeans and clogs for a totally 70's look, but the proportions just didn't work. I went with skinnies and flats and was pleased with the results. What do you think?

The very best part of the sweater?  It makes a charming little clink & tinkle when I walk! I wanted to do the twist all day! Hey, did I ever mention fashion can be fun?!

And speaking of fun, I thought it would be cool to feature a few of my favorite fun looks from last week's link up. So hard to just pick a few!  But here they are ...

Suzanne Carillo of Suzanne Carillo Style Files looking retro and dapper.

Annette of Lady of Style looking perfect for a walk in the snow!

Tina of Tickled Pink Woman in her charming Downton Abbey inspired look.

Okay, so now on to this week's link up fun!  Please link back and don't forget to follow along on Bloglovin so you never miss a party!
