Summer Suede

I spent the afternoon running around in my current favourite sneakers and this soft suede skirt. Right now the weather in Louisiana has finally warmed up and it's hot enough for bare legs and arms but not so hot that it rules out suede. I added my biker jacket as the temperature cooled off towards the end of the day.

    J'ai croisé la belle Olivia au défilé "Each x Other", une marque dont elle est fan et qui a
    pour slogan: "When Art meets Fashion". Olivia est commerciale dans la mode, mais 
    elle n'en dira pas plus (Olivia est très secrète !). Elle porte un "sublime" blouson by
    Each x Other (c'est vrai qu'il est très beau avec ses bandes horizontales), un sac
    Hermès, un sweater et un pantalon TopShop. Ses chaussures sont des Buffalo et ses
    lunettes sont des Persol (marque italienne que j'affectionne. Ça me  fait penser que je
    vais en acheter une nouvelle paire pour cet été ...). Questionnée sur son pire
    cauchemar et sur son rêve le plus fou, Olivia ne répondra pas ... C'est un secret 
    (encore !).

    J'ai croisé Luana, la jolie étudiante, lors de la dernière semaine de la Mode. Pour
    Luana, en dehors du noir, point de salut et j'aime cela. Elle porte une veste H&M en
    fausse fourrure et une robe Zara. Son grand chapeau noir Hippie chic est également
    de chez H&M et ses sneakers sont des Air Max 95 de chez Nike. Son parfum favori est
    "Coco Mademoiselle" et son adresse préférée est le magasin Colette. Dans la vie, son
    rêve le plus grand serait de devenir rédactrice de Mode pour VOGUE et son pire 
    cauchemar serait de se retrouver seule au monde dans une ville désertée de ses
    habitants, comme dans les films de SF.

Here is my second look with ‘70s vibes created for Elle Serbia April issue!
I picked long ribbed dress, faux leather jacket and super high heels with fringes. I added cute old bandana just to spicy it up a little bit and that's it!

Okay, I'm an addict. Sneakers addict. They come in a variety of colors and prints, and can easily be dressed down or up depending on the occasion, and I want them all. Don't blame me. ;)

When I think 'boho' I think fussy fringing and way too much paisley which is why I usually steer clear of it. But something about the fit of this dress made me love it. I felt like I could style it in a way that was 'boho' but still true to my look... I might have to rethink my 'no boho' stance!
