The Fab 40s in Goth!

In the Halloween spirit, the Fab 40's decided to go for goth inspired looks this month. Oh okay, "we" didn't decide ... it was my turn to pick and thrust this odd challenge upon us. I'm a HUGE Halloween fan and a frustrated goth at heart (they kicked me out of the club back in the day for being far too cheerful and friendly!)

I've been admiring SALT on their Instagram account for quite awhile now. I was thrilled when designer Sarah Borgeson contacted me about a collaboration!

Look at these gorgeous luxe unique pieces!

For almost twenty years, Sarah has drawn inspiration from the diverse worlds of art, architecture and nature to create her Santa Cruz, California-based jewelry line. A native Californian, Sarah creates her collections with an emphasis on versatility, color and texture to tell a story. As a sculptor with a formal education in sculpture and design from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Sarah’s interest lies in challenging common interpretations of color and materials to create work that is bold in its originality.

A black 'boy' bag with gold hardware has been on my wish list for a while. It's a classic colour combination and Chanel keep the demand high by not releasing the bag in this combination every season. When this combination is released you have to be quick! I missed out (again) when they re-released the bag last year but thanks to Vestiaire Collective I finally got my hands on one.

Whenever I have cute socks peeking out from under my hem, my students say, "Ms. R's got sock game!"
