Scala Collezione Sun Hat Review

I love having a collection of summer hats for sun protection!

My latest addition is this practical and stylish Scala Collezione Lahaina Sun Hat.

Crafted with a heavy 100% cotton fabric, this hat is built to last through many summer adventures.  You can pack it and crush it and it will return to its original shape.

The brim can be worn up or down for two cute looks.

The hat comes in 25 colors so you can match any mood or outfit. I'm wearing coral ... and I'm beginning to think it's my color! What do you think?

Gladiator sandals are back and they are more powerful than ever! As the shoe of the season they are instant head-turners and if you wanna feel like a goddess or a warrior princess get laced up in summer's gladiator sandal! They will transform your basics from boring to a statement-making look.
This time I paired them with a denim shorts from Zara, amazing leather vest from MO première‬ 
and retro t-shirt from the upcoming Coca-Cola pop up store! The iconic Coca-Cola 'contour' bottle celebrates its 100th birthday this year and to celebrate Coke is opening a pop-up store in Belgrade. Karina Dresses & Fun Fashion Friday Link Up!

Welcome to this week's Fun Fashion Friday.  Before we start the fashion fun, I want to thank everyone for the sweet compassionate comments last week.  It really meant a lot to me.

This week I'm excited to be showing off my first Karina Dress! Gee, I kinda feel like the last fashionista on the planet to have one, and now I know why they're so popular ... easy dressing at it's best!

I picked the "Megan" in a black and white clover print.  It was hard choose just one dress because so many options looked so pretty!  One of my favorite features of Karina Dresses is that they help you pick a dress based on your body type for the best fit.  I totally recommend the "Megan" style for fellow pear shapes. It couldn't be more flattering.

I love so many things about Karina. All their dresses are machine washable and wrinkle free.  I also noticed that pet hair doesn't stick to this material ... a big plus in my home. And one of my favorite features?  A wrap style top that stays ... wrapped!  I never had to fuss with pulling it closed or pinning it.  I'm betting that this pretty number goes into regular teacher rotation once the school year starts again.  

Here I styled the dress with a vintage bag and shoes.  I thought it echoed the classic retro styling nicely.  And by now you all know I'm a sucker for black and white with a pop of red!

I have always been fascinated by collectors and their collections. Much of my childhood was spent going to antique sales and flea markets with my mother and grandmother. We would hunt for treasures, like vintage postcards, old perfume bottles, and any number of magical tchotchkes
that caught our eye. Grieving ... no link up this week.

Readers and friends, I'm not going to host Fun Fashion Friday this week.  I'm grieving the loss of my sweet kitty, Pumpkin.  I'm totally heartbroken.  

  The last couple of weeks have been so hard and stressful, with the saddest outcome.  I apologize for not getting around to all my favorite blogs lately, but I know you understand. 

In Pumpkin's honor, take an extra moment today to hold your furbabies close.
