I just LOVE gingham checks for spring and summer... they make me feel all Bardot and picnic-y. I wore this look with my white Birkenstocks during the day and then added my heels and a swipe of berry lipstick to take it quickly from day to night.

I've spent the last few months shooting a new TV show (Salem) with The Boy down in Louisiana. This weekend we took a welcome break and flew out to the Palm Desert for the Coachella music festival. 

I kept away from the typical festival attire (fringing and feathers are not my thing!) and spent day 2 of the festival in these GUESS "shortalls" and my go Balenciaga boots.
